Usually most jobs run between 90 and 120 minutes, but that can depend on the severity of the problem and the speed of the computer we’re working on saving
Unless the hard drive is damaged beyond repair or recovery no….I almost never have to format or wipe a hard drive to start over (in fact I call that “lazy teching” when someone says that’s the first thing they should do)
but it’s always wise to have your data backed up to an external drive or on the cloud…the more important your data is, the better it should be backed up!
These are two different questions….a pre-built one? Absolutely! They work just as good as one you’d order direct from Dell/HP/Etc and most people who aren’t doing gaming or streaming don’t need the super top-end
all the bells and whistles PCs
Custom (non-major brand name PCs)…..they work great too…but if something major goes wrong with say the motherboard, it may not be the easiest of things to track down replacement parts for them
I come to you! No need to take your machine apart or worry about which wire goes where or finding me in your GPS or GPS app, I’ve learned over the years it’s better for everyone for me to do all the leg work and come to you!
Usually by the hour…..I do have an “all day rate”….but it’s so rare that I’d need to use it I can’t recall the last time I did, also any parts or equipment I need to get would be additional but we can discuss all that when I can see the full scope of the project and what will need to be done
Absolutely, I’ve been running and maintaining small business networks since I went out on my own in 2003
